The CinemAid Ukraine Charity Film Marathon has begun in various cities around the world. CinemAid Ukraine is a series of charity screenings of Ukrainian films abroad, initiated by the Ukrainian State Film Agency together with the Ukrainian Film Academy, the Watch Ukrainian! association, Ukrainian Motion Picture Association, UkrKinoFest, Union of Entrepreneurs of the Television and Film Industry, Nareshti, CF "Doors" and Center of Creative Industries Development.

“The full-scale war that Russia has cynically and insidiously waged against Ukraine has taken away the best of what we have. We are now forced to give up those things which brought us joy and satisfaction in life, which includes seeing movies. Unfortunately, with bombs dropping everywhere, we cannot watch high-quality Ukrainian cinema with our friends and share our emotions as well as our impressions. But foreign viewers do have the chance to do this and thereby join us in our common struggle against the enemy. Victory will be ours and we will achieve this together!” - assured Maryna Kuderchuk, head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The funds raised will be transferred to three areas of support for Ukraine: to the 'Come Back Alive' Foundation, in support of the country's film industry during the war, and to help war-affected filmmakers and their families.
